 11.               For the Western, English and Driving shows, SIX ribbons will be awarded in each class. Point system is: 1st = 7 points, 2nd = 5 points, 3rd = 4 points, 4th = 3 points, 5th = 2 points, 6th = 1 point.  If the class holds four horses or less, we then apply a sliding scale to the points system for English, Western and Driving ONLY.  That sliding scale is as follows: 1st place = 5 points, 2nd place = 3 points, 3rd place = 2 points, 4th place = 1 point.  There will be year-end awards given to the riders who accumulated the most points in each division and have shown in at least 4 of the 6 shows. There MUST be two (2) or more horses to hold a class and to receive a Champion or Reserve ribbon for the division, excluding leadline and therapeutic.  In the event that you are combined with another class your points will be counted for the class/division that you signed up for.  The same horse and rider combination, in each class of a division, is to receive a Champion or Reserve ribbon for the day.

 12.               For Western, English and Driving in the event of a tie for the end of the day championship, the number of blue ribbons won, or a coin toss will determine the winner.  This will be done at the discretion of the show committee. In the event of a tie for the year end championship, the number of blue ribbons won and the number of shows attended will determine the winner. This will be done at the discretion of the show committee.

 13.               Riders will receive equitation year end points. Equitation classes are judged on the rider, therefore changing horses is permitted for year end points.  However, on the day of each show the horse and rider combination must remain the same for end of day champion. In the halter division, only 3 of the 5 classes will count toward year end points, for one horse and handler combination. Horses will receive pleasure or hunter year end points with the same rider/horse combination.  In the event of a serious injury or death of a horse, the show committee must be advised of the situation.
