Halter – Judged on conformation – The same horse/handler combination will accumulate points.

Leadline – Riders 6 yrs and under. (Training division) Can cross enter into cowpoke and IN-HAND Classes ONLY.  Rider’s to accumulate points.

10 MINUTE SCHOOLING BREAK (Little Cowpoke, Therapeutic and Wrangler ONLY

 

Little Cowpoke – Riders 12 yrs & under; (Training division) will work off lead; Spotter optional.  Judged on rider’s hands, seat and control of mount.  Rider to accumulate points. 

May not enter any lope classes.

Beginner Youth Equitation – Riders 17 yrs and under; in their 1st or 2nd year showing Western anywhere.  May not cross enter into lope classes or cross enter into class #30.  Judged on rider’s hands, legs, seat and control of mount.  (Please note: Training Divisions; DO NOT count towards the first or second year of showing.   Rider to accumulate points.

Stock Horse English Pleasure – Open to all Western type horses/ponies showing in English tack.  Must also show in a Western Class.  Judged on manners, performance, soundness and suitability of a Western horse/pony going English.  Will be shown both ways of the ring at a walk, trot and canter.  Points to be kept on same horse/rider combination.

Buxmont Western Pleasure – Open to riders and horse/ponies of all ages.  Horses/Ponies 5 years and under may be ridden two handed; in a bosal or snaffle bit).  Horses ages 6yrs and over MUST be shown one handed in a shanked bit.  To be judged on manners, performance, soundness and suitability to be a pleasure mount.  May be asked to back and extend gait.  Points to be kept on same horse/rider combination.
